Calm After The Storm

It was thunder and lightening all day yesterday, and today it was quiet but drizzling and very humid. The rain came and went most of the day, but I was cosy in my bivvy.

Saturday Fishing Fun

Except it wasn't that much fun. Cold wind and no bites put a dampener on the day, as did the woeful performance of the new Baggin Waggler 4G rod.

Disappointing Day At The Usual Spot

I arrived full of promise, and left a broken man. Many bites, but mainly from small bream and roach. Bites 'n' bubbles, but no carp, all day long.

Bank Holiday Fishing Fun In The Sun

Except it was freezing, I had full winter gear on. And I forgot my fishing rods, so had to buy a new one. How stupid can you get ? Go fishing and forget to take a fishing rod.
