My first day trip to a small fishery in south Devon. It was a dull and humid summer day, and I didn't see a whole lot of action. But my new bivvy was cool.

Here is a selection of my favourite fishing spots, and my favourite photos of them. At one of these lakes, on a summer's evening when the light is going down, and not many other anglers are about, I can honestly say it is one of the best places to be. I particularly love it when the wind drops (it always seems to near dusk) and the water goes like glass.

This gallery is for all big carp caught that stick in the memory. Some of my biggest carp are in here. It is important to record these things, as my memory is so bad. One day I hope to be able to put a photo of a twenty pounder in this gallery.

In May 2015 I booked myself a luxury weekend at Woodlakes log cabins for a bit of rest and relaxation. These photos are the result. They document my time relaxing and chilling, and eating nice food, all outside my lakeside cabin. Nice.
