Finally got off my arse and drove up to Hawkstead, just to the south west of Bury St Edmunds. I stopped off at Creeting Lakes and Blue Water Lake, and they seemed quite nice places to fish.
It was forecast to be very warm today (it wasn't) so I thought I'd give the new Alfa Romeo a spin up the A12 to Marsh Farm. It was humid at first, but as usual a cold wind came up off the (grim) North Sea.
Got myself down to Marsh Farm today for my first visit of the year, and found that they have butchered the place. About fifty percent of the trees have been removed.
