My first fishing trip for a long while, so I decided to treat myself to a glamping pod for the evening. The weather was damp and gloomy, just like it has been all summer.
It was very busy, but I managed to get my favourite spot. I just float fished with luncheon meet, and was bothered by small fish all the time. However, later in the afternoon the size of carp I was catching gradually got bigger. They fight really well at this lake, and some of the smaller carp gave me quite a scrap. My new gear performed well, and I really enjoyed going fishing again, especially the 12 lb cary at the end of the day.
