It was a beautiful sunny day, and the lake was fairly busy, so I took the only swim I could really. Within about 10 mins I had caught the lake's biggest inhabitant, according to some young man who was watching. Anyway, it is without doubt the biggest fish I have ever caught, and it put up a mighty scrap.
After that, I caught another big one, then I moved to the bottom of the lake, where I proceeded to lose quite a few more.
A great introduction to West Country fishing I'd say. The only down side is that I have already achieved the highest prize on this lake, so motivation to come here may be a problem.
