I have been avoiding going out this summer for obvious reasons, but I recently figured out that going fishing is one of the safer things to do at the moment. It has social distancing baked into it by default. I really am at a loss where to go fishing though, so I tried M and B Fishery again, but didn't really enjoy my trip.
It just doesn't suit my style of fishing. I love float fishing for carp, and have caiught my biggest fish that way, stalking along the bank and fishing in the margins. But this lake is either only 1 foot deep or 18 foot deep in the margins. I just can't float fish there. I didn't exactly get many bites on my ledger rod either. And it just feels a bit depressing there, and closed in.
I caught one roach, and had no bites from anything else all day. Going to try Trewandra instead.
