I wasn't too hopeful for today. It was very cool compared to of late, and very bright, and very windy. I went to the usual swim in the corner bay, and float fished large fishy boilies near the reeds.
I had a really good day actually, and got four small, but hard fighting carp, all from tucked up tight to the reeds. I didn't lose any (snapped that is) and had plenty of bites. I used the full strength fishing line and this seems to be about right at the moment, even for the tiny carp !
